The information we collect and how we use it
When you register with Hill and Dale Outdoors and/or place an order, we need to know your name, delivery address, credit or debit card number and expiry date, e-mail address and telephone number. This information allows us to fulfil your order.
When you register on our site your email address is used by us to send occasional product updates and newsletters. If you do not wish to receive these emails, simply send an email to email@example.com with the work UNSUBSCRIBE in the message title.
When orders are dispatched, we may pass your telephone number to our courrier. This number is only used if the courrier experiences difficulty finding your address, and is not passed on to any other third parties. The courries will not retain your telephone number after delivery has been made.
We do not pass your details on to any other third party.
By submitting your information you consent to the use of that information as set out in this Policy. Because the Internet infrastructure is global, and it is not possible to predict the routes that information sent over the Internet will take, the information you provide may be transferred temporarily via a route which takes it outside the European Economic Area as it passes between you and us. By submitting your information you consent to this transfer.
Passive Collection of Information
When you visit the Hill and Dale Outdoors site, some information may be automatically collected. Further to this, we don't ever store any of your payment card details on our server. Hill and Dale Outdoors internal procedures cover the storage, access and disclosure of your information.
The Thawte Secure Site Program allows you to learn more about web sites you visit before you submit any confidential information. When you see a Thawte logo, clicking on it will verify that this web site is secure.
Non-disclosure to third parties
Unless we have your express consent, we will only disclose your personal data to third parties if this is required for the purpose of completing your transaction with us.
